Time Is The Enemy

We're all constantly fighting against the clock in one way or another. Whether it's a deadline a meeting or lunch with your best friend which was meant to be an hour ago. Somehow, some days you just can't fit everything in, but Billy and Ben found the time to work together and lay into this piece.

This Illustration consists of a base 3D exploding clock, mixed with Photo Manipulation techniques, Iluustration Elements and custom light brushes rendered in After Effects.

This piece of art is amazing in the aspect of being abstract. I have to say the artist did a swell job at making a scene of braking glass, with the clock it looks phenomenal. Another thing I really liked is the space backdrop. A lot of the times poeple think of time and timetravel and all of that, they think of a space-y place, kind of like effects on movies, they go through space. Anyway it is an amazing add to the art. If I had to say anything negative about this art, I would probably just say the shadows of the gears in the top left and bottom right might have less opacity to make it look a little bit better. But again this is just my opinion. Very nice job overall.
